Hannah Tooktoo is a multidisciplinary artist, who mainly works with acrylic paints, beading and printmaking.
Hannah is an Inuk, born and raised in Kuujjuaq, Nunavik, Qc. She started taking her art career more seriously within the last two years. She has recently graduated in the visual arts program at Dawson College and now moved back to Kuujjuaq, where she works and continues her creative career on her free time. Her works often have vibrant colours and the subject matter often features social justice and inspiration from her cultural background. She also uses it as a tool for healing and creative outlet.
